Celebrate Junior Culture Evening at PRG

Paul Roos Gymnasium is delighted to announce its annual Junior Culture Evening, a vibrant and diverse event that will showcase the rich tapestry of our school community. The evening promises an engaging and enriching experience for students, parents, and the local community, celebrating the unique artistic diversity and educational excellence of our school.

Date: 1 November Time: 18:00 to 20:30 Location: PRG, Japie Krige Hall. Tickets available at the door R30 cash or snap scan

The Junior Culture Evening is an occasion to highlight the music and drama talent of our junior creative arts students all the way through to senior level music. We invite everyone to join us for an evening filled with cultural displays, artistic performances, and interactive activities.

What to expect:

1.Creative arts live performances:

Enjoy captivating performances by our talented Gr 8 and 9 creative arts students, performing a play with live music, featuring music, dance, and drama that reflect the diverse cultural influences within our school.

2.MC & Guest speaker:

Johan Falck is a proud PRG old boy who was the first pupil at the Paul Roos Gymnasium to take Drama as an official subject.

3.Creative arts drama videos: 

As part of Creative Arts, Gr 9 students do film studies and produce their own short films from start to finish as their final Creative Arts project.

4.PRG Drumline:

Come and experience the world class performance of our PRG drumline, not to be missed.

5.PRG Senior Band (Alter ego)

Join the senior band for a spectacular performance of Jazz, Rock, Blues and pop

6.Filmit High School film competition entries:

Come enjoy the Filmit finalists’ films, Geskiedenis and Arma.

This event is an excellent opportunity for families to connect with one another and experience the vibrant culture within our school community. We look forward to your presence at the Junior Culture Evening and encourage you to invite friends and family to join in the celebration.
