Rules have been designed to protect the younger players.

There will be an auction of all 8 teams on Wednesday 20th February and the successful bidders will be also be able to bid for wild card players on the same evening.

Prize-giving will include acknowledgement of the best performers on and off the pitch.

Funds raised will be used for the development of cricket at PRG which includes three foundational pillars:

  • Developmental Pillar – PRG realises that youth development is critical to the development of cricket, the School and our beautiful South Africa.
  • Facility management – over recent years PRG has continually accepted greater numbers of cricketing scholars, placing the facilities under huge pressure. Existing facilities need to be improved and new facilities need to be built.
  • Coaching – Good coaching is at the heart and soul of the development of cricket requiring more high quality cricket coaches for scholars at all levels of the sport.
