PRG Athletes at NWU Top 30
Paul Roos Gymnasium took part at the NWU Top 30 held at the McArthur Stadium in Potchefstroom from 20 to 21 October 2022.
This is the biggest school athletics event in the country with 1700 athletes taking part. The team, consisting only of grade 8-10 learners, earned 19630 points and finished in 25th place. A special mention must be made of the track athletes who ran in an older age-group in order for the team to meet the stringent entry requirements.
Thank you to Joshua dos Santos, Christopher Steyn, Benjamin Hopkins, Reuben Stander, Altus du Plessis and Louw Smit.

A massive thank you to Mr Francois Nel, who was the head official at the long jump at the event, and Mr JH Stoltz, who was the PRG Team manager, for their contribution to a great weekend of athletics.
We look forward to seeing these boys continue to grow and develop as athletes.
