Western Cape Closed Championship 2021 – Results
Western Cape Closed Championship 2021, 24 – 26 Sept, hosted at PRG Markötter Sports Complex.
DCAS was the main sponsor of the tournament. A total cast of 88 players competed in all sections including players from as far afield as Vredenburg.
The Championship section with 16 players was fiercely contested the with final results as follows:
1st place: Alexander van der Merwe (Paul Roos Gymnasium)
2nd place: Dr. Shabir Bhaawodien (Fide Master)
3rd place: Andreas De Jager (Curro Durbanville)
