Na twee jaar van inperkings is jong sportmanne van Paul Roos Gimnasium en Grey Kollege (Bloemfontein) baie opgewonde om vir die eerste keer sedert 2019 weer teen mekaar te kompeteer. Hierdie hoë-profiel sportgeleentheid in die Paul Roos-kalender skop af met die Nashua Interskoledinee, aangebied deur die Paul Roos Old Boys Rugbykomitee en word ondersteun deur Abacus, Aramex, Health Squared, Eye & Laser Clinic en die Remey Groep. Op Donderdag 18 Augustus woon 660 rugby- en sportliefhebbers van die Paul Roos en Grey Kollege gemeenskap ‘n glansgeleentheid by die Paul Roos Sentrum by. Tydens hierdie geleentheid word die onderskeie sportdissiplines vereer en word stories oor die ryk geskiedenis tussen dié twee skole deur ‘n PRG- en Grey-rugbypaneel gedeel. Die seremoniemeester, tv-persoonlikheid en musikant Pietman Geldenhuys sorg vir vermaak, terwyl befaamde rugbyspelers, Juandré Kruger (PRG), Schalk Brits (PRG), Heinrich Brüssow en Richardt Strauss van Grey Kollege op die rugbypaneel dien. Old Boy, rugbyspeler en TV persoonlikheid Ricky Schroeder lei die paneelgesprek.
Met 550 kaartjies reeds verkoop, is daar slegs 110 kaartjies beskikbaar aan belangstellendes. Verrigtinge begin om 18h00. Kaartjies teen R8500 maak voorsiening vir 10 gaste en sluit ‘n wynproe by aankoms, vier bottels komplimentêre wyn per tafel sowel as ‘n heerlike ete vir tien in, voorberei en opgedis deur Red Pepper Deli.

After two years of Covid restrictions the young sportsmen from Paul Roos Gymnasium and Grey College Secondary (Bloemfontein) are very excited to compete against each other for the first time since 2019. This high-profile sports event in the Paul Roos calendar will kick off with the Nashua Intershools Dinner, is hosted by the Paul Roos Old Boys Committee, and supported by Abacus, Aramex, Health Squared, Eye & Laser Clinic and the Remey Group. This occasion honours the various sports disciplines where stories about the rich history between the two schools are shared by a PRG and Grey Old Boys rugby panel. MC, TV personality and musician Pietman Geldenhuys will ensure guests are entertained while top SA rugby players Juandré Kruger (PRG), Schalk Brits (PRG), Heinrich Brüssow and Richardt Strauss from Grey College will serve on the rugby panel. Old Boy, rugbly player and TV personality Ricky Schroeder will lead the panel discussion. With 550 tickets already sold, there are only 110 tickets available to the public. Proceedings commence at 18h00. Tickets cost R8500 and makes provision for ten guests. The ticket price includes a wine tasting on arrival, four complimentary bottles of wine per table, as well as a delicious dinner for ten people. Catering is done by Red Pepper Deli. A highlight in the jam-packed sports programme include the hockey matches which will take place at the Maties Astro. So too, Saturday 20 August, when rugby lovers pull together in their masses at the Markötter Sports Complex to experience the momentous rugby interschools.
