Societas Komitee / Committee

The Societas committee is looking forward to a successful 2024 with exciting projects and initiatives.

In 2023 we decided to have two junior members on our committee to create continuity in the Societas system. The junior members, Xander Yntema and Derek Vermooten are currently in  Gr 8. They showed commitment to all of the Societas projects and have a passion for serving the community.

Here is what some of our committee members had to say about their passion for Societas:

“I really love the type of projects and work that Societas is doing. Helping the community as far as possible is something I also strive for everyday. I have been involved in Societas for a time now and it has been the best decision that I ever made. I also really love taking care of nature and I enjoy being in an outdoor environment even if I clean the river or plant trees.
