2023 PARENT & SON RECTOR’S CUP
On 10 October PRG Golf hosted its annual Rector’s Cup alongside a special Parent & Son Golf Day.
Twee-en-dertig spanne het in dié twee kompetisies deelgeneem op die dag.
A wonderful time was had by families who enjoy golf. This annual event serves as a fundraiser for PRG Golf and was once again well supported by parents, corporate companies and local businesses who all contributed towards the success of the day.
Baie dankie aan hoofborg Mercedes-Benz Stellenbosch, ondersteunende borg Private Wealth Management en gatjieborge Boland Bouers, Karlien van Zyl, Vitafit Aday, Investec, Pro Shop – Somerset West Golf Club en Connect Architects. Julle bydrae het gesorg vir ‘n feestelike atmosfeer op die baan. ‘n Verdere woord van dank aan fotograaf EJ Langner en SuperPhoto Somerset Mall vir die geraamde fotos wat elke deelnemende span kon huis toe neem.

PRESTIGIOUS ASSOCIATIONS ARE THE NAME OF THE GAME
It was an exciting moment when our marketing office could hand over a special golfing auction prize after the annual Parent & Son Golf Day in aid of golf development at Paul Roos Gymnasium. A big thank you to Leopard Creek and Hamilton’s Lodge for supporting Paul Roos Gymnasium. A fantastic day of golf, paired with accommodation on the Riverside Farm, only 500m from the Kruger National Park’s Malelane Kruger gate, is around the corner for Mr. Bruwer and guests. The support of prestigious establishments like Leopard Creek and Hamilton’s Lodge make it possible for PRG to create opportunities for its learners!
Tertius Bruwer bought the Leopard Creek and Hamilton’s Lodge voucher in support of PRG Golf. Happy golfing. We hope you enjoy your stay at Hamilton’s Lodge.
It is time for the annual PRG Rector’s Cup again!
This annual golfing event is very popular and in aid of PRG Golf. Where? De Zalze Golf Estate.
Thank you to the golf parent committee who is faithfully working with PRG’s golf manager and marketing office to ensure a successful and memorable golf day and fundraiser.
Hierdie jaar is besluit om alle ouers uit te nooi om deel te neem. Mans en vroue (ouers / mentors) is welkom om saam met hul seuns in te skryf!
A second fantastic change to this year’s Rector’s Cup is the R100 000 prize for the lucky individual who manages to hit a hole in one on the 12th hole (de Zalze Golf Estate). The winner will receive R50 000, while the other R50 000 will be donated to PRG Golf. How fantastic!
Parents / mentors and their sons can enter a 4-ball or 4 learners can enter a 4-ball to compete in the Rector’s Cup. There will be special prizes up for grabs:
- Rector’s Cup prizes for the learners: 1st, 2nd & 3rd place
- Additional prizes (1st, 2nd & 3rd places) for the parents/mentors and sons who collectively manage to score the best points during the course of the day.
Dié wonderlike dag van gholf eindig met ‘n ete, ‘n veiling en ‘n gesellige kuier met familie en vriende. Fantastiese items is dié jaar op die veilingslys! Daar is iets vir gholfliefhebbers, smulpape, wyn- en whiskey liefhebbers. So moenie vergeet om op dié blad te kom loer watter items opgeveil gaan word nie.
