Swimming: WP Short Course Championships
The following swimmers participated in the WP Short Course Championships from 4-7 July:
Eric Kotze who set 6 new WP records (4 gold medals in 50m freestyle, 100m backstroke, 100m individual medley, 100m butterfly, silver in the 100m freestyle, and silver in the 50m butterfly and 50m backstroke for the senior open division);
Nicholas Malherbe (gold in the 50m breaststroke, bronze in the 200m breaststroke and 100m breaststroke);
Gerard February (gold in the 100m breaststroke, silver in the 200m breaststroke and 800m freestyle, bronze in the 100m Individual medley);
Rossouw Burger (bronze in 200m butterfly);
André Loots; Nicholas Forbes; Liam Clarke; Wilan Basson; Jonathan Coolen; Heinrich Schultz and Carter Arnott.
