Paul Roos Gymnasium and Investec are excited to announce the See and Be Seen Art Exhibition and Auction which will run from 19 to 30 October 2021. The inaugural “See and Be Seen” Art Exhibition and Auction is a fundraising event which forms part of the school’s 155-year celebrations and is especially significant considering the turbulent times we find ourselves in. Funds raised will be in aid of the Sponsor a Paul Rooser initiative, which provides financial relief to disadvantaged families in the Paul Roos school community.

- Outreach Project / Interactive Art Workshops
In the spirit of community engagement, talented Paul Roos schoolboys will engage in a collaborative portrait exchange with other local schools during the month of September. This interactive art experience in partnership with the Rupert Museum includes 34 grade 8 -11 art students from Paul Roos Gymnasium, Calling Academy, Lückhoff High School, Rhenish Girls’ High School, Hoër Meisieskool Bloemhof and Stellenbosch Hoërskool.The programme includes:Rupert Museum guided tour, 18 September 2021.
Creative arts workshops facilitated by Lara Nieuwenhuis on Tuesday 28 September & Wednesday 29 September 2021. Lara Kruger has experience working with teenagers and in community development programmes, now lectures art design at CPUT.Interested bidders can view the artworks at the See and Be Seen Art Exhibition.

The exhibition is a mix of professional artists (to add that much needed excellence and inspiration to our youth), emerging artists, those with an artistic flair and young talent.
