Dear Grade 8 Parents,
We are excited to welcome our newest students to the track for our Grade 8 Athletics Day!
The goal of this day is simple: participation and fun. We want to give every boy the chance to step out of his comfort zone and try out different events—whether it’s seeing how it feels to clear a high jump bar for the first time or testing their speed on the 100m straight.
Please note: This is a very casual event focused on exploration. These are NOT official trials for the school team. There is no pressure to perform, and no “cuts” will be made. We simply want the boys to enjoy the fresh air, bond with their new classmates, and discover sports they might enjoy.
Let’s make this a low-pressure, high-energy introduction to athletics at our school!
