Senior National Swimming Championships in Gqeberha
Paul Roos Gymnasium swimmers competed at the Senior National Swimming Championships in Gqeberha (14–18 April), delivering strong performances across the board.
André Loots competed in the 50m freestyle and 50m butterfly, finishing 21st and 11th overall respectively, and placing 3rd in the B Final of the 50m butterfly. He also claimed gold as part of the 4x50m freestyle relay team.

Eric Kotzé represented the school with distinction, reaching the A Final in the 50m backstroke, winning the B Final in the 100m backstroke, and securing places in the B Finals of the 50m breaststroke and 50m butterfly.
Eric’s excellent performances have earned him selection to represent South Africa at the Africa Aquatics Junior Championships in Oran, Algeria from 5–10 May.
