Die Atterbury-Paul Roos Musiekfees – Omskrywing:
In 1983 verwerf Coenie de Villiers bekendheid met sy album Skoppensboer en Corlea Botha doen dieselfde in 2011 met haar album Wie is ek? Tydens die PRG-Musiekfees reis Coenie en Corlea saam deur die Wynland. Dié twee deurwinterde sangers word ondersteun deur die bekwame jong sangers van die PRG Koor en Sanggroep, ‘n massa-orkes, sowel as ‘n massakoor van 500 kinderstemme. Die PRG Musiekfees beloof ‘n belewenis wat beïndruk, boei en bekoor.

Kom geniet ‘n heerlike aand saam met Paul Roos, gaskunstenaars Coenie de Villiers en Corlea Botha. Op Woensdag en Donderdag (24 en 25 Augustus) word dié twee sangers, die bekroonde PRG koor en sanggroep begelei deur ‘n massa-orkes van 100 lede bestaande uit die PRG Orkes, die Madelein van Rooyen String Studio, James Town Sounds en die Free State Youth Wind Band. Van Coenie de Villiers se gunsteling liedjies soos ‘Kringe om die maan’, Desert Conversation’ en ‘Wonder bo wonder’ sal opgevoer word. Corlea, op haar beurt, sal welbekende treffers soos ‘The Show Must Go On’, ‘Imagine’ en Afrikaanse treffer ‘Grassade’ opvoer. ‘n Hoogtepunt op die aand is die massakoor – ‘n koor van 500 seuns – wat spesiale items soos ‘The Living Years’ en Paul Roos se weergawe van ‘Ireland’s Call’ sal lewer. The Atterbury-Paul Roos Music Festival: Synopsis
In 1983 Coenie de Villiers reached stardom with his album ‘Skoppensboer’. Songstress Corlea Botha did the same in 2011 when she released her album ‘Wie is ek?’. In the much anticipated PRG Music Festival Coenie and Corlea will be traveling through the Winelands and will be supported by the competent young singers of the Paul Roos Choir and Singing Group. Experiencing a performance by these two seasoned singers, supported by a mass orchestra, a mass choir of 500 children is a once-off treat which promises to impress, captivate and charm audiences.

Come and join Paul Roos for an exciting evening with guest artists Coenie de Villiers and Corlea Botha on Wednesday, 24 and Thursday, 25 August. They will be joined by the award-winning Paul Roos Choir and PRG singing group.
